All glass installations carried out by Sydney Precision Glass comply with the Australian Standard AS1288 and are carried out by one or more of our highly trained, fully qualified glaziers. Our glaziers regularly install commercial and domestic glazing, bathroom mirrors, wall mirrors, shower screens, splashbacks and balustrades. Safety is our number one priority and, due to the dangerous nature of glass, glazing and mirrors, all of our installations are carried out by glaziers with years of experience in the industry. We install glass in many forms including: windows, doors, mirrors, splashbacks, shopfronts and other glass needs in domestic or commercial properties.
Glass replacements must comply with the current Australian Standards and all of our glaziers are qualified and work to these standards. Changes to Australian Standards mean that where a property may have had ordinary annealed glass, a replacement would have to be made using safety glass. This is a legal requirement for both the glass company and the owner of the property and we will always advise you as to what is necessary to follow the correct Australian Standards for the installation of the correct glass.

It is not only glass repairs that must comply with standards. New glass must also comply with building codes and regulations. Complying with these standards and codes means ensuring that both the glass is suitable and the frame and mechanical fixing are also within the guidelines set out to ensure a firm and secure foundation. Glass installation is a very specialised field and should be left to the professionals.
